Johnston and Murphy for Women Arrives at Arthur Beren Shoes

Today I review a new brand of shoes we have just added here at Arthur Beren Shoes. This spring we are delighted to offer Johnston and Murphy for women. Formerly serving just men, Johnston and Murphy have begun to move into the women’s shoe market. We are particularly proud to offer their women’s wear as we appreciate their effort to bring the influence of men’s wear into the creation of a sharply crafted shoe for women.

We take a close look today at several Johnston and Murphy women’s shoes that are now offered in our store and in our catalog as well, the first of which is the Belinda Wing-Tip. This particular shoe offers a rather cute spectator look, designed in an oxford style featuring comfortable patent leather. A red, leather lace adds a classy look to the contrasting black and white leather, giving the shoe an overall flare.

If the oxford style suits your fancy, but you are perusing the options for a bit of a softer look, we are pleased to offer the Belinda Perf Saddle shoe. A very pretty marriage of an oxford and a saddle shoe, this particular shoe is designed in soft, metallic leather with a comfortable lightweight sole. A hint of springtime lavender frolics through the shoe, complete with a delicate leather lavender lace to tie off the design.

Just in time for spring, we have the trendy Melody Cap Toe Skimmer by Johnston and Murphy, as well as the Alexandra Fold-Over Sandal. The Melody offers a nice spring look of polka-dot print designed in a light and comfortable leather, yet canvas flat. A slight wedge is hidden in the delightful craftsmanship of the shoe as well. The Alexandra Sandal offers a very soft, padded black leather insole as well as a comfortable yet fashionable overlay of black and white patent leather. With warmer weather soon on the way, either the Melody or the Alexandra would add a comfortable yet lavish touch to any of your spring styles.
